Andrew C. Friary — Funeral services for Mr. Friary, whose death occurred Saturday 
night, were held at 10 a.m. yesterday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. 
Leo J. Ryan, of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, was assisted by Rev. John C. 
Ryan of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Ryan made an extended talk, the theme 
of his address being the necessity of faith. During the service, Mrs. S. A. Sutton 
sang, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," with Miss Kate Gorman as accompanist. There 
was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a 
double cluster of Easter lilies and ferns. Delegations were present from the B. P. 
O. Elks and Knights of Columbus. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers 
were James J. Riley, Patrick Riley, Dr. C. W. Doughtie, Dr. H. R. Drewrey, M. J. 
Murphy, Leon Hosier, Zenas A. Gay, R. D. Parrott, O. M. Jones, J. H. Preas, W. H. 
Cox and J. D. Duffy.
