Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 13, 1939

Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Frick, aged 86, widow of Augustus Frick and daughter of 
Dempsey and Mrs. Martha Peal, a native of Gates County, N.C., and a resident of 
Norfolk 70 years, died yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at her residence, 
718 West Thirty-seventh Street.  Mrs. Frick was for many years a well known 
florist.  She was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Church, of the Three Score 
and Ten Club, and of the Daughters of Rebekah. Surviving her are two nieces, 
Mrs. Nepie Alley and Mrs. E.A. Bishop, of Norfolk and several great nieces and 
nephews.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Robert H. 
Gamble, of Christ and St. Luke's Church, officiating.  Interment will be in 
Elmwood.
