Virginian-Pilot, June 4, 1958
NORFOLK - Solomon Friedberg, 94, a native of Lithuania and a former resident of 
Norfolk for 32 years, died Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Beth Sholom Home of 
Virginia, Richmond, where he had resided for the past six years.
He is survived by two nephews, Paul Friedberg of Baltimore, and Irving 
Friedberg of Harrisburg, PA, and one niece, Mrs. Harry Shapiro of Baltimore.
The body will be brought to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts where services will 
be conducted today at 2:30 p.m. by Rabbi Joseph Schecter, of the United 
Orthodox Synagogue. Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
