Logansport (IN) Pharos-Tribune June 6, 1953
PERU, June 6 – Mrs. Mary Jane Fritzinger, 79, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Saturday 
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. M. Arnold, route 4. She had been ill two 
weeks.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on May 12, 1874, she was the daughter of Peter and 
Bridget (Maloney) Smith. She was married on Oct. 28, 1896, to Eli Fritzinger. He 
died in 1940.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Arnold and Mrs. Lucille Allice, Norfolk, 
Va., and a son, Ed, also of Norfolk; one brother, Peter, route 4, Peru; nine 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Brookman funeral home, where friends may call Saturday 
evening until Monday morning, when the body will be taken to Norfolk for final 
rites and burial.
