Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 29, 1949

Edwin Fritzinger, 83, son of Capt. T.J. and Mrs. Sarah Jane Brady Fritzinger, a 
native of New York and a resident of this section since childhood, died at a 
Norfolk hospital yesterday at 8:30 a.m.
He is survived by two brothers, Joseph Fritzinger, of Sanderville, Ga. and J.H. 
Fritzinger, of Norfolk.
Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Friday at 3:30 p.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Edwin Fritzinger — Funeral services for Mr. Fritzinger, who died Tuesday, were 
conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments yesterday at 3:30 p.m. by the 
Rev. John Meehan, of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were R. P. Smith, W. I. Ollice, W. R. Ollice, W. L. Cooper, E. 
Fritzinger, H. H. Campbell, and J. E. Cross.
