Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 9, 1953

Mrs. Mary Jane Smith Fritzinnger, 79, widow of Eli Fritzinger and daughter of 
Peter and Mrs. Bridget Smith, a native of Philadelphia and a resident of Norfolk 
for most of her life, died Saturday at Peru, Ind.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. William L. Arnold, of Peru and Mrs. 
William Ollice, of Norfolk; one son, Eli Fritzinger, of Peru, one brother, Peter 
Smith, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
The body will be brought to Norfolk for funeral services and burial at a time to 
be announced later.

FRITZINGER, MARY JANE SMITH - At Peru, Ind., Saturday, June 6, 1953, MARY JANE 
SMITH FRITZINGER, widow of Eli Fritzinger and daughter of the late Peter and 
Bridget Smith, aged 79 years. Remains will be taken from the residence 149 West 
Gilpin Avenue, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, for funeral services 
THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
