Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 7, 1952

John Henry Fritzinger, 77, retired from the Norfolk Division of Water 
Supply, died yesterday at 4 p.m. at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, 
Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Cooper, 9308 Belgrave Avenue.
He was the husband of the late Catherine Baker Fritzinger, and a lifelong 
resident of Norfolk and a member of Old St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. 
Besides Mrs. Cooper, he is survived by one son John David Fritzinger, of 
Norfolk; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Derry Funeral Chapel Tuesday at 3 
p.m. by the Rev. Moultrie Guerry, rector of Old. St. Paul’s Episcopal 
Church. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
