The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark April 21, 1934


Mrs. Catharine Augusta Fritzinger, aged 58, died at a local hospital last night 
at 9:30 o’clock. She was the wife of John H. Fritzinger, a native of New York 
City and a resident of Norfolk for the past 57 years. Besides her husband, she 
is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W.L. Cooper, and one son, John D. Fritzinger, 
both of Norfolk, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 
the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne Road, tomorrow 
afternoon at 1 o’clock. The Rev. Vincent C. Franks, rector of old St. Paul’s 
Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
