Virginian Pilot November 7, 1962

Mrs. Edna B. Frizzell, 62, of 2106 Lafayette Blvd., wife of Oscar Lee Frizzell  
Jr. and daughter of Stephen L. and Mrs. Emily Simpson Carter, died in a Norfolk 
hospital Tuesday at 1:40 p.m.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist 
Church.
Besides her widower, she is survived by a brother, William B. Carter of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 4 
p.m. by the Rev. D.S. Moyers of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery.

1962, at 1:40 o'clock, MRS. EDNA B. FRIZZELL, wife of Oscar Lee Frizzell Jr. and 
daughter of the late Stephen L. and Mrs. Emily Simpson Carter, in the 63rd year 
of her age. Funeral services will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
THURSDAY AFTERNOON, November 8, 1962, at 4 o'clock. Friends are invited. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
