Mrs. Fugitt had been a teacher in the public schools of Norfolk for thirty-five years, where she had endeared herself to an ever-changing circle of pupils for whose instruction she was responsible. She retired from active school work about two years ago and some months ago her health began to fail. Mrs. Fugitt was the daughter of the late Hollowell and Mrs. Virginia Williams. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Lena M. Blick; a nephew, Charles L. Harris: three great-nieces and three great-nephews, all of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at H. D. Oliver's funeral apartments. Dr. L. C. Steinmetz will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
