The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 23, 1945
Gideon Fulford, 76, of 1327 East Ocean View Avenue, died yesterday at 12:10 
a.m. after an illness of a year.
A native of Currituck County, N.C. had resided in Norfolk for 40 years.
He was a son of the late Burtran and Bettie Ashbee Fulford.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nannie DeShields Fulford, five sisters, Mrs. L.M. 
Morrisette, Mrs. S.C. Flora, Mrs. E.B. Williamson and Mrs. D.T. Allen, all of 
Norfolk and Mrs. E.C. Zirkle of Wilmington, Del.
The body was removed to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley, where funeral services 
will be conducted at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
