The Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 27, 1948


Mrs. Nettie Taylor Fulford, 65, wife of the late William F. Fulford and a 
daughter of the late George F. and Martha Casey Taylor, died yesterday at 2:50 
p.m. in a Baltimore hospital after an illness of one year. A native of Norfolk 
and a resident of Baltimore for 20 years, she was a member of the Baptist 
Church.
Surviving are two sons, William Taylor Fulford, of Sparrows Point, Md., and 
Robert F. Fulford, of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Clara Taylor Bullock, of 
Norfolk; one brother, Marshall V. Taylor, of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Susan 
and William Fulford, of Sparrows Point, and one nephew, M. Verno Taylor, Jr., 
of Norfolk.
The body will arrive in Norfolk Tuesday morning and will be taken to the Ewell 
& Williamson Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 3 o’clock 
Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
