He had retired from Naval Air Station, Norfolk, as a painter after 36 years. Survivors include his wife, Lina Fulmore; a daughter, Myrtle Lee Turner of South Carolina; five sisters, Ethel Beiars and Laura Shannon, both of Washington, DC, Ella Brown of New York City, Lillie Foye of North Carolina and Aserina Robinson of South Carolina; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be held at noon today in Twilight Funeral Home, Portsmouth Chapel, by Bishop L. E. Willis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at 11 a.m. today at 201 Ivy St., Portsmouth.
