Mrs. Funk was a past president of the National Association of Parliamentarians and was a member since 1933. She founded several parliamentarian organizations at the state and local level. In 1964 she served as parliamentarian of the U.S. committee in the United Nations. She was born in Waverly and was the widow of Donald D. Funk. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and Great Bridge chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a former member of Norfolk Yacht and Country Club and the Executive Club. Survivors include a cousin, Lillian E. Wahab of Norfolk. The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. J. Wade Munford.
