Hollomon-Brown FH January 2020
William Ashby Furlough, 84, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away on January 24, 2020.
Born in Plymouth, NC, he was the son of the late John Ashby Furlough and Essie 
Tarkington Furlough. He retired as a Bus Driver from Hampton Roads Transit after 
40 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Elaine 
Furlough and sister, Ramona Davenport. Left to cherish his memories are his 
daughter, Alyssa O’Neal; son, John Furlough; and grandchildren, Kathryn, Wulfe, 
Christian, and Caitlin.
A memorial service will be held at Hickory United Methodist Church on Saturday, 
Feb. 8, 2020, at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Great Bridge Chapel, is assisting the family. Memorial donations may be made to 
your local humane society. Condolences may be offered to the family at
