Funeral services were held recently at First Calvary Baptist Church for Mrs. 
Edna Futrell, 36, who died in a local hospital after a brief illness.

The Rev. C. E. Griffin, pastor of First Calvary Baptist Church was in charge of 
the services.

Mrs. Futrell, a native of Norfolk, was born June 19,1921 and was the daughter of 
Mrs. Irma Britt.  At the time of her passing, Mrs. Futrell was a member of La 
Vogue Social Club.

Survivors include  her mother, Mrs. Britt, husband, Winfred Futrell, two 
daugters, Carolyn and Winifred;  one sister, Lola Phillips of New York City.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
