McGahan died yesterday morning at 10 o’clock at her home, No. 715 W. Brambleton avenue, after a protracted illness, aged 68 years. She was a most estimable lady and consistent member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years, and her life reflected the religion she professed. She had many attractive qualities and her demise will be greatly regretted by a large circle of friends. She was a native of Ireland, but had resided in Norfolk for half a century. She leaves two nieces and a nephew – Mr. C. C. Bishop, Misses Mary Connelly and Hugh Connelly, all of Norfolk. The funeral will occur at 10 a.m. tomorrow from the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
