                     Death of a Bright Little Boy

The Virginian regrets to announce the death of Master Frank H. Gale, Jr., 
which occurred at the residence of his father, on Mariner street, yesterday 
morning at 7:30 o'clock, after a brief illness from an attack of that 
fearful malady diphtheria.  He was a very attractive little boy, 7 years of 
age, and a favorite with all who had ever met him. The funeral will take 
place at 10 o'clock this morning in Elmwood Cemetery, where the body will be 
interred by the side of his mother.

The funeral of Master Frank H. Gale, Jr., whose death was mentioned in The 
Virginian, took place yesterday at 10 o'clock at Elmwood Cemetery and was 
conducted by Rev. Dr. M.B. Wharton, of the Freemason Street Baptist Church.
