Virginian Pilot December 29, 1962


Norfolk-Mrs. Dora Lee Gale, 73, of 956 Norview Ave., widow of Robert B. Gale 
and daughter of Marcelus H. and Mrs. Welton Lee, a lifelong resident of 
Norfolk, died in a Norfolk hospital Thursday at 10 p.m.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church for 50 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Doris G. Pendergraph of Norfolk; a son, Dr. 
Robert B. Gale of Hampton; two granddaughters and two grandsons.
A funeral service will be conducted in Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home today 
at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Wallace A. Rogers of Norview Presbyterian Church. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
