Martin Edward Gallagher — Funeral services for Mr. Gallagher, who died Sunday at a 
Norfolk hospital, were conducted at 10 a.m. yesterday at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church by the Rev. Edward W. Johnston, pastor. The Rev. P. C. Blackburn was 
present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers were J. B. Latham, E. B. Hurdle, Jr., J. Whittle Martin, E. W. Palmer, 
R. E. Hargrave, A. M. Nickerson, Q. T. Harrell and John H. Weber.
