F. V. Bambrick officiating. The Rev. P. C. Blackburn was present in the sanctuary. At the conclusion of the mass, Father Blackburn spoke highly of the Christian life and character of Mr. Gallagher. Several selections were sung during the service by the choir of St. Mary’s Academy, with Mrs. Joseph Lex as organist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, red roses, asters and ferns. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were J. G. Madden, C. E. Austin, William Cordrey, E. L. Emmett, George B. Maccubbin, James Murray, Stephen F. Cassey and Robert Carty.
