NORFOLK — William P. Gallagher, 74, of 1702 Bellevue Ave., son of William H. and 
Mrs. Mary Madden Gallagher, died in Hampton Veterans Hospital Friday.
A native of Norfolk, he was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, a Navy 
Veteran of World War I, and a member of Ocean View Barracks 1829.
He was a retired salesman.
Surviving are a son, William H. Gallagher of Washington; a daughter, Mrs. James 
Rammell of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Mary Rose Forbes of Norfolk; and three 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Derry-Twiford Funeral Home Monday at 1:30 p.m. 
Burial, with military honors, will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
The Office of the Dead will be recited in the funeral home tonight.
