Mrs. Lena Gallashaw, of 411 Rose avenue, died July 2 at a Virginia Beach 
hospital following a short illness. She was stricken while at work in a 
Virginia Beach establishment. Funeral rites were held at 1:30 p.m. July 6 at 
Kingdom Hall, 1620 Church street.

A daughter Mrs. Alice Scott, and a brother, Walter Smith, survive. Burial was 
in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
