NORFOLK - Marvin T. Gallop of the 700 block of W. 29th St. died May 10, 2003.

A native of Norfolk, he was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk. 

Survivors include his wife, Katera Gallop of Virginia Beach; three daughters, 
Porsha Williams of Norfolk, Marvette Gallop and Shanigua Gallop, both of 
Virginia Beach; three sisters, Kathy Brown of Norfolk, Deborah Joyner of 
Portsmouth and Jeanette Reed of Virginia Beach; four brothers, Donald Gallop of 
Norfolk, Fred Gallop of Chesapeake, Lloyd Gallop of Japan and Russell Winfield 
of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends. 

A funeral will be held Friday at noon in New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by 
the Rev. Dr. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will 
receive friends Thursday at 1624 Tattinger Trail, Chesapeake. The family will 
assemble at Community Funeral Home, Norfolk, Friday at 11:30 a.m. for the 
procession.
