Romie Lee Galloway, 57, of Atlantic Hotel died in a hospital Wednesday.
A native of Wilson County, N.C., he lived here 29 years.
He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Galloway and a son of Mrs. Eula 
Jefferson of Fountain, N.C. and the late Albert Galloway.
Besides his widow and mother, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary 
Murden, Mrs. Marie Pogorelec, Miss Rebecca M. Galloway and Miss Jean Anne 
Galloway of Norfolk; five sons, John R. Galloway of MIramar, Fla., Paul A. 
Galloway of Virginia Beach, Robert E. Galloway and Albert O. Galloway of Norfolk 
and Michael E. Galloway of the Air Force; a brother, Jessie R. Galloway of 
Fountain; and two sisters, Mrs. George Wilheim of Baltimore and Mrs. Virginia 
Brown of Pine Tops, N.C.
The body was taken to H.D Oliver Funeral Apartments.
The family will be at 622 Boissevain Ave.

NORFOLK — A funeral service for Romie Lee Galloway will be held in H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, today at 11 a.m. by Dr. Emmet W. S. Godwin. Burial will be 
in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 622 Boissevain Ave.
