Virginian-Pilot September 18, 1990
Braxton E. Gallup, 83, a native of Norfolk, died Sept. 16, 1990.
Mr. Gallup had retired from Archer Metal Co. as a chemist.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Stephenson Gallup; two daughters, Angela 
Bodenhamer of Winston-Salem and Linda Gallup of San Diego; a son, Steve Gallup of 
San Diego; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hill & Wood Funeral Home, 
Charlottesville, Va. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery, 
Norfolk. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral 
home.
