Charlottesville, VA Daily Progress October 20, 1997
Janie Stephenson Gallup, 76, of Columbia, S.C., formerly of Charlottesville, 
died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, in a South Carolina hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, Angela Bodenhamer and Linda Gallup; four 
sisters, Doris Wilson of Lexington, S.C., Helen Dell-Erba, Kathleen Smith and 
Bernice Sauls, all of Raleigh, N.C.; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces 
and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1997, in the 
chapel of the Hill and Wood Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Jenkins officiating. 
Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8 at the funeral home.
Hill and Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Her SSDI says her DOD was October 16.
