ALEXANDRIA - Mrs. Barbara Hoge Galt, 81, of 4800 Fillmore Ave., a resident of 
Norfolk before moving to Alexandria, died Wednesday in a hospital.
A native of Washington, D.C., she was the widow of Hugh B. G. Galt and a 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Hoge.
She was a member of the Colonial Dames and Society of the Lees of Virginia.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. J. N. S. Brewster of Elizabeth, N.J.; a nephew; and 
10 nieces.
The body was sent to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew's Episcopal 
Church by the Rev. Roger C. Snyder. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart 
Fund.
