Virginian-Pilot March 9, 1923
GALT - At the U.S. Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Va., Thursday morning, March 8, 
1923, at 8:40 o'clock, ROBERT WARE GALT, chief engineer, U.S.N., retired.
The remains will be taken from the funeral apartments of V. H. Smith, 631 Olney 
road, corner Manteo street, to the residence of his brother, Captain William W. 
Galt, 1104 Westover avenue, for funeral services SATURDAY, March 10, at 12 o'clock 
(noon). Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
