Virginian Pilot Sunday May 27, 1906

Howard Gammon, the 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Gammon, died yesterday 
evening at 7 o'clock after an illness of two months from spinal meningitis.
The funeral will be conducted from the residence in Oakdale Monday afternoon at 4 
o'clock.  Rev. V.W Bargamin, pastor of the Liberty Street M.E. Church, will 
officiate.  Interment at Magnolia Cemetery.
