EARLENE O. GARDNER

Earline Olivia Gardner, 49, of the 2900 block of Tait Terrace, died Oct. 26,
1992, in a hospital.

Mrs. Gardner was born in Princess Anne County. She was employed with Sentara
Norfolk General Hospital for 14 years. She was a member of St. Andrew's Church
of God in Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Dan W. Gardner; two daughters, Candrell McCoy of
Fayetteville, N.C., and Angel Gardner of Norfolk; four sons, Steven Gardner,
Gerald Gardner, Chad Gardner and Dan Gardner Jr., all of Norfolk; three sisters,
Frances Mitchell and Pearl Johnson, both of Norfolk, and Florine Odom of New
York; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in St. Andrew's Church of God in
Christ by the Rev. Lauretta Jones. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends
may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Twilight Funeral Home. The body
will be placed in church at 11 a.m. Saturday.
