Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 16,1963
Mrs. Odessa Gardner, 65, of 847 Fremont street, who died Feb. 2, was given final 
rites Saturday at Morning Glory Funeral Home.

The Rev. James Burrell officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Gardner was a native of Edenton, NC.  She was the widow of John Gardner.

Her survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Helen Rhinehardt of Washington;  and two 
grandchildren.
