NORFOLK - Mrs. Delilah Gardner, 80, of 2831 E. Princess Anne Rd. died in hr home
Sunday at 7:20 p.m. after a long illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and the daughter of William Henry and Mrs.
Annie Beverly Brothers. She was the widow of Herbert Gardner. She was a kindergarten
teacher at one time at Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church of which she was a
member, and where she was superintendent of the Sabbath School.

She is survived by one brother, Samuel Brothers of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Riddick Funeral Service. A funeral service will be conducted
Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church by Elder J. Thomas.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
