NORFOLK — Lena Margiotta Gargano, 79, of the 100 block of W. Randall Ave. died 
Nov. 1, 1986, in her home.
She was a Norfolk native and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Kephart of Norfolk; a son, Ernest V. 
Gargano of Norfolk; two sisters, Minnie Callahan of Danville and Josephine Miller 
of Norfolk; two brothers, Frank Margiotta and Anselmo Margiotta, both of Norfolk; 
and four grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church by 
the Rev. Vincent Connery. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A Christian wake 
service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments in Norfolk at 7 p.m. today. 
The family will be at 406 Fairfax Ave. Memorial donations may be made to St. 
Mary’s Infant Home or to the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters.
