The Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 8, 1955
Mrs. Annie Hozier Garlette, 83, widow of William H.L. Garlette, died at a 
Norfolk hospital yesterday at 4:15 p.m. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Thelma Demazio, of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a son, William A. Garlette, Sr., of 
Norfolk, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Garlette was a life long resident of Norfolk, and a member of the First 
Congregational Christian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Riverside Memorial Park.
