Norfolk - Edgar Garner of 617 Tidewater drive, retired employee of J. H. Myers
Oyster Company, died Feb. 27 in his home.

He was given funeral rites March 3 in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J. W.
Matthews and was buried in Calvary Cemetery.

The Princess Anne County native was a son of Alexander Garner and Mrs. Susan
Garner and the husband of Mrs. Frances Garner.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Alice Baker of Cedarhurst, Long Island, NY,
and Mrs. Cora Weeks of Philadelphia;  and a niece, Mrs. Rosa Mae Scott of Norfolk.
