Virginian-Pilot January 16, 1963
NORFOLK - Mrs. Ida Morser Garnett, 89, widow of Horace J. Garnett and daughter 
of Christian and Mrs. Angela Schott Morser, died Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. in her 
home at 8326 Chesapeake Boulevard.
A native of Morrison, IL, she lived in Norfolk most of her life. She was a 
member of Seventh¬Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lois A. Morrisette and Mrs. Pansie Mae 
Theisen of Norfolk; a son, Christian. H. Garnett of Bayside; four grandchildren 
and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 1 
p.m. by Elder E. L. Hanson of Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
