She was a daughter of the late George Herbert and Mrs. Eleanor Cherry Garrett. She was a member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church, the English Speaking Union, and the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities. She retired from Norfolk Naval Supply Department and since had been associated with Furr Realty Co. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Walter Szalva, of Hollywood, Fla. and Mrs. Leon Leroy of Miami, Fla.; two nephews, Lt. Lawrence Garrett of Pensacola, Fla., and George Herbert Garrett of Miami. The body will be taken from Cox Funeral Home to Magnolia Cemetery (Berkley) where a funeral service will be conducted at a time to be announced.
