Virginian-Pilot December 5, 1978
WASHINGTON - Joshua Garrison, 87, a native of Norfolk and a Washington resident 
many years, died here Sunday.
He was a retired financial writer and was a Navy aviator (Lieutenant) during World 
War I.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Duane Garrison and Mrs. Eugenie G. Sheerar 
of New York.
The body was sent to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, for a funeral today 
at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev A. Heath Light of Christ and St. 
Luke's Episcopal Church.
