Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch February 20, 1941
Mrs. Willie A. Cole, aged 58, died at a local hospital yesterday morning after a 
long illness. Mrs. Cole had been a resident of Norfolk all of her life. She was 
the daughter of the late George and Annie Garrison and the wife of W. R. Cole. She 
is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Coralee Pancoast; two brothers, Henry S. and 
Edward G. Garrison; two grandchildren, Richard and Genies Pancoast, and two 
nephews, all of Norfolk. Mrs. Cole was a member of Edgewater Council 27, Daughters 
of America, and Oneida Council, Degree of Pocahontas.
Funeral services will take place Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the chapel of 
the Paul B. Warren & Son Funeral Home, 1102 Colonial avenue. Interment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
