Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 25, 1946

Edward George Garrison, Sr., 68, husband of Cora Genier Garrison, died at the 
residence, 910 West Forty-ninth Street yesterday morning at 9:25 o'clock.  
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Edward G. Garrison, Jr.; a brother, 
Henry S. Garrison; a granddaughter, Miss Betty Lou Garrison; a niece, Mrs. Cora 
Lee Lundy and a nephew, Henry E. Garrison, all of Norfolk.  Mr. Garrison was a 
lifelong resident of Norfolk, a well-known brick contractor, member of the Loyal 
Order of Moose and charter member of the Park Place Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
