 Norfolk Virginian Pilot Monday November 11, 1946
Mrs. Annie Burroughs Garwood, 75, widow of Eugene Garwood and daughter of 
the late Robert and Mrs. Annie James Burroughs, a native of Norfolk and a 
resident of Virginia Beach for 20 years, died at the residence, Fifty-fifth 
Street, Virginia Beach, Sunday at 12:30 a.m.
She is survived by two daughters, Misses Marion and Pauline Garwood, both of 
Virginia Beach.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Tuesday at 
11 a.m. by the Rev. C.W. Carnan, Jr., rector of Galilee Episcopal Church, 
Virginia Beach, of which Mrs. Garwood was a member. Interment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
