Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, July 15, 1990 
Florence Washington Gary, 43, of the 2500 block of Middle Ave., died July 13,
1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Gary was a native of Florence, S.C.

Survivors include two daughters, Florette M. Griffin and Valerie D. Gary; four
sons, Barry L. Gary, Delvin A. Gary, Melvin D. Gary Jr. and Irving M. Delancy;
and two brothers, George Washington and Alfred E. Washington, all of Norfolk;
and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Enoch Baptist Church by the
Rev. Michael Daniels. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from
2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Riddick Funeral Service. Friends may join the family from
7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
