Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday October 23, 1952
Mrs. Emily Lee Gaskins, 85, wife of Walter W. Gaskins and daughter of Daniel 
W. and Mrs. Emily Humphreys Lee, died at the residence 610 Maltby Avenue, 
yesterday at 8 a.m.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Starr Jones, of 
Norfolk; two sons, Clyde L. Gaskins, of Memphis, Tenn. and Leslie C. Gaskins 
of Selmer, Tenn.; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gaskins was a native of Currituck County, N.C. and had resided in Norfolk 
most of her life.  She was a member of Virginia Chapter 22, Order Eastern 
Star.
The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
