Virginian-Pilot December 30, 1959
NORFOLK-Walter W. Gaskins, 94, husband of Mrs. Emily Lee Gaskins, died in a 
Memphis, Tenn. hospital Monday.
He is survived by two sons, Clyde Gaskins, of Memphis, Tenn., and Leslie Gaskins 
of Selmer, Tenn.; two brothers, Lee Gaskins of Philadelphia and J. Kenneth Gaskins 
of Norfolk, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Atlantic Lodge No. 2, A.F. & A.M.
A funeral service will be conducted at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Thursday at 4 
p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be at 825 West 27th St.
