Norfolk Virginian Piot February 7, 1949 

Mrs. Martha Pinckney Gaskins, widow of J. Harry Gaskins, died Saturday at 
Columbia, S.C. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. H.H. Griffin, of Columbia. The body 
will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Elmwood Cemetery for 
services at the grave today at 1 p.m. The Rev. Emmett H. Hoy, Jr., rector of the 
Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, will officiate.
