Mrs. Irene Gatling - Funeral services for Mrs. Gatling, 40 Radford street, 
Portsmouth, were held Mar. 4 at First Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. 
C. E. Walton, officiating.

Mrs. Gatling is survived by her husband, LaDaniel Gatling;  her parents, Mr. 
and Mrs. Fenton Turner;  three sisters, Mesdames Leola Walston, Essie Malone 
and Fannie Howard;  a brother, Daniel Turner and other relatives and many 
friends.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery, with the Chatman Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
