Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, November 9, 1993 
Ayvonne Alexander Gatling, 50, of Route 2, died Nov. 5, 1993, at Sentara Norfolk
General Hospital.

Mrs. Gatling was born in Norfolk, Va. She was employed for many years at
Colonial Stores Supermarkets.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Gatling Jr.; her mother, Florence O. Hill of
Norfolk; three sisters, Shirley M. Watson of Virginia Beach, Jacqueline C. Zenon
of Kansas City, Kan., and Andrea Hill of Norfolk; an aunt, Ethel S. Sharpe of
Norfolk; nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery . Arrangements will be handled by Graves
Funeral Home.
