The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Wednesday July 15, 1936
Carmelo Gattuso, aged 83, died at the residence, 3500 Lafayette boulevard, 
yesterday morning at 5:30 o'clock. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna T. 
Gattuso; a daughter, Mrs. John R. Meridth, of Auro, Ill.; three sons, Frank and 
William W. Gattuso, both of Norfolk, and John Gattuso, of Baltimore, and nine 
grandchildren. Mr. Gattuso was a native of Italy, and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for 22 years.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to St. Mary 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Burial 
will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
