Norfolk - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gaylord of 939 E. Princess Anne road, the widow of 
Early Gaylord, died in her home after a long illness.

A native of Winfall, NC, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Perry Sr. and 
Mrs. Mary Jane Perry.

She was a domestic and a member of First Church of Christ, Holiness.

Surviving are a brother, Samuel Perry Jr., and a sister, Mrs. Maggie Hassell, 
both of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held in First Church of Christ, Holiness, by Bishop David 
P. McPherson. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in 
charge.
